The guesthouse

Pension Arrieta is placed in a unique situation in the heart of the city and just three minutes walking from the historical city. Getting to our premises is really simple regardless of coming by train, car, or bus, or even if you are doing the way of Sant James. We offer added advantages for the pilgrims who travel by bike to Santiago de Compostela, as they can keep their bicycles in a safe place while visiting the city. Due to its location our guesthouse has really good communication facilities; really close to a taxi rank, the intercity bus stops and the bus station. All these things made us one of the most interesting hospitality establishments in the town as it is acknowledged by many prestigious travel guides, like the one "Lonely Planet", where you can find the following quote:

«This is a more-than-adequate option, but with decor wearing a touch thin. Arrieta has decent-sized rooms in its main pension. Across the way on the floor of another building is an annexe of much the same standard».

The treatment given to the traveller is always kind and friendly. At the desk we are always available to solve any problem which our guests could have, attending them in English, French or Italian.

Bedrooms

Pension Arrieta has eight double suites of rooms (twin or double bed) and five triple bedrooms as well. We can accommodate 31 people in total. You can book rooms with private or shared bathroom. All of them are really quite bedrooms. You can choose inner or exterior rooms, facing onto a central patio or to the street. Our cleaning service is very efficient and it goes daily through all the rooms. The disabled have been taken into account as we have adapted accesses for people with limited mobility.
